Antique Merbah Jambul cage

I bought this cage from a friend about 6 years ago very nicely hand crafted. According to him this cage is more than 30 years so plus minus the age of this cage is around 36years .Definately there are a lot of beautiful cages out there but this one is so special because of it age factor.I do have a few kampung Jambuls back then but all of them died due to sickness.

Silver and White Japanese Long Tailed

 My silver onagadori the sickle,saddle and tail feathers are growing nicely.Currently my only breeder at the age of 14months.

 At 9 months old this white boy sickle and tail feathers are fantastic.Hopefully he will be an excellent breeder in the near future.All of his sickle ,saddle and tail are still in blood feathers.

What i love about this boy is the thickness of his sickle and saddle feathers even at 9 month old.Just wait and see how looooooong can it go.ha..ha..ha

Onagadori

In this photos my three months old female and male onagadori,seven of them 3 males and 4females .Hoping mad that they will be from the non molting lines.

Update on my golden sebright

Recent photos of my golden sebright and my crossed between silver and golden chick.

Hope this one can become a very productive one as most of my breeder are not.Recently manage to collect quite a number of eggs but only a few are fertile.You really need passion ,patient and lots of luck to breed this kind of chicken.Not being able to figure out where do you go wrong sometimes makes me feel frustrated and fed up as all of a sudden they became sick.Sickly bird are something that we need to be carefull with as sometimes it can   infect others and this is the time when we have to quarantine them and all the other things that i am not a fan of.Well as said earlier  we must have passion bro.

Over the weekend manage to persuade Irwan to part with his silver onagadori this beauty(11month old) arrived at  Malacca Central on 31st July 6.00am .

 Things got a little bit messy when he mistakenly sent a juvinile white onagadori on th 30th July but the matter has been resolved when i decided to take into possesion both silver and a juvinile white.The $$$$ don't wanna to mention it here .This particular bird is not a Pheonix it is an Onagadori as both parent are brought in from Japan .It can also be call japanese long tail as it yet to reach the Onagadori status which is  non molting of tail feathers for 3 years.

Chicks

After quite a long wait finally manage to hatch a few exotic chicks. 2 gold bantams,3 onagadoris and 1 polish phew !!!!!! what a wait.For the past month my farm has been saddle by missfortune as 5 of my juvinile silver bantams succumbed to respiratory infections(all of them are around 5mth old),two of my polish hen also follow suit,lastly my precious breeding pair of Onagadoris being gobbled by mr slithering phyton luckily manage to save 15 of its eggs isyaallah will start from there.

 Front portion of Merlimau Exotic Farm as seen most of the "rooms" are vacant because the previous tenant died of sampar early this year.So starting all over again is something quite hard to do as it involve resources be it financial and time.Initially i only bred fighting cock imported from Thailand so moving from fighting cock to exotic is actually new to me.As fighting cock are more hardy to compare with  our little bantams which need more attention and can easily get sick.So its very true from what I read and heard from fellow breeder that bantams are not for beginners.

Basically there are two types of  such chicken i.e Houdan and Polish. i am not sure about the one i own  .But the guy who sold me these chickens told me its polish .
